The queen, the diva, the fashionista is back with all her elegance and beauty that stunned all as the wraith like. Since long fashion diva, Sushmita Sen’s public appearances are very few.
Lakme Fashion Week was organized, and Sushmita Sen was seen there playing the role of a perfect show stopper for the House of Kotwara by Meera and Muzaffar Ali. The duo is well known for their graceful creations, presented their collection, Samanzar- A garden of flowers in the Lakme Fashion Week.They designed this collection is inspired by the traditions of Awadh. Sushmita Sen, with her million dollar smile on her face, and soaring yet a little edge and a rare sass, put on a gorgeous creation from the collection, Samanzar.
Sushmita Sen was seen pondering her ramp days and was enjoying the time to the hilt. She was dressed in a gorgeous fully embroidered, silver and green lehenga choli with a dupatta and stole the heart of everybody present there, by curling to the most melodious song from another diva Rekha’s Umrao Jaan. The Kotwara Collection was a perfect unification of royals and grace with embellished and interlaced fabrics making their way for numerous sarees, lehengas and Bridal Dressmaking. There is no doubt that Sushmita Sen was just the perfect choice for bringing a stunning end to the show.
As Sushmita Sen made her appearance in the ramp, she was greeted by whistles and blares. The fabrics that were used in the silhouettes presented by the designers, was muslin, velvet, brocade, chiffons and embellishments like muqquaish, zardozi, chikankari. The palette of this collection was unambiguous with whites contrasted against black and a delicate touch of antique rose and gold. All we can say is that Sushmita Sen was seen in an enthralling avatar.
Along with the gorgeous outfit, Sushmita Sen looked even more graceful because of the jewelry she wore, that includes jhumkis, haathphool and necklace. Then the eyes that were heavily lined with bold lips and a stylish hairdo, made her poise incarnate. Moreover, to add to the beauty her head was covered with a heavily designed dupatta and a maang tika.
